Wayne J Thaxton

Wayne J Thaxton, 93, of Kansas, died at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 200 2, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.

He was born July 7, 1909, in Vinton to Virgil and Cora (Russell) Thaxto n. He married Clara "Geraldine" Kissling June 21, 1931, in Risingsun. S he died June 21, 2002.

Survivors include: three sons, Carl of Fostoria, Glen and Dale of Risingsu n; two daughters, Marilyn Fillhart of Fostoria and Carolyn Fry of Old For t; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildre n; a brother, Harold Thaxton of Kenton; and four sisters, Juanita Ne er of Woodstock, Virginia Millice of Springfield, Helen Peterson of Bellef ontaine, and Kathleen Winger of Yankton, S.D

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Hom e, Fostoria, with burial in Liberty Cemetery, Seneca CO.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
