He was a native of Sandy Creek and had resided in Mattydale for 33 years. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Dingman was a Navy veteran of World War II and served for eight years as a chief petty officer in the submarine service. He was a member of Mattydale VFW Post 3146. A union carpenter with Local 12, he was employed for 28 years on commercial construction. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Maryann Tomlinson of Mattydale; his mother, Mrs. Beatrice Dingman of Mattydale; a brother, Harry of Mattydale; two grandchildren... Services will be...
