EIMAN, WALTER M. Holt

Age 94, passed away on December 18, 1991. He was born on Old Mission Point at Traverse City on January 19, 1897 and has lived in Holt since 1963. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Army; was a life member of Buck Reasoner Post #238 American Legion of Holt; Morley S. Oates Post #701 V.F.W.; and the V.F.W. National Home in Eaton Rapids; and a member of the Military Order of Cooties, Pup Tent #5. He has been Grand Marshall of the Memorial Day Parade in Holt for several years. Mr. Eiman was a self-employed Electrician, and later retired from the State of Michigan Highway Dept. Surviving are step-son and his wife, William and Judith Husband of Mason; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Steve and Diane Husband; several nieces and nephews. Religious services will be conducted by The Rev. Howard A. Belknap, of South Baptist Church, at 10 a.m. Friday, December 20, 1991 in the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Military Honors and pallbearers will be provided by Buck Reasoner Post #238 American Legion. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W. National Home at Eaton Rapids.
