Dear Ron, David has already answered pretty fully on Uncle Ronald (as I knew him). Uncle Walter, actually my great-uncle,was the youngest son of Bailie Kinloch Anderson, my great-grandfather. Like Eric Milroy he was a chartered accountant and in the Black Watch, so they may well have known each other. When his Captain was wounded Walter Anderson led D Company of the 6th Battalion in his place and was shot dead the moment he rose above the parapet to lead his men forward at Bois de Courton on 21 July 1918. All best wishes, Eric .
