Vaughn Odessa Thornburg (d 1943), 20 Oct 1932, Fort Wayne; d 14 Jan 2000, Arvada CO; services 29 Jan 2000, Rockland Community Ch, Golden. Moved to Golden from Indiana in the 1950s, where she worked at the US Bureau of Reclamation, retiring in 1973. She moved to Broomfield in 1994, and to Arvada in 1999. Survived by son Peter Odessa Thornburg, Great Falls, MN [sic]; son William Henry Thornburg, Denver; daur Rosemary Thornburg, Arvada; daur Alice Joh Lindermann, Broomfield; 7 gr-children; 2 g-gr-children; preceeded in death by husband, 11 bro and sis and a gr-daur. Publ in Boulder Daily Camera, 20 Jan 2000, p 4C.
