Miss Virginia Black. DAR ID Number: 44275 Born in Montgomery Co., Ky. The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Volume 45 page 113 Descendant of Corp. Andrew Malone. Daughter of Andrew Black and Margaret Lockridge, his wife. Granddaughter of Robert Lockridge (1784-1826) and Elizabeth L. Malone(1786-1869) his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Andrew Malone and Rachel Ozier Zilerfrow (1753-1839 )his wife, m. 1781. [p.113] Andrew Malone (1754-1834) enlisted 1775 fromCecil County, Md., for two years under Capt. Edward Veazey, Col.Smallwood. He was at Long Island, Trenton, Brandywine, Germantown, WhitePlains, Stony Point and Monmouth. In 1832 was placed on roll of CallowayCo., Ky., for actual service as private and corporal, Maryland line. His widow died and the surviving children received the pension. Also No.41267.
