Virgil Matthew Shaw lived and worked in Tucson Arizona, where he raised his first child, Pauline Edith. The house he lived in the 1930's still stands at 843 S. Arizona Avenue. While in Tucson he worked at the local Veterans Hospital as a helper, held a position at a local Montgomery Ward department store, and also did private detective work. Later in life he remarried and moved to Albuquerque New Mexico, where he raised his second family. In 1966 he was elected constable of his district in Albuquerque. He and his family lived on Shirk Lane, which is relatively unchanged today.

i. Pauline Edith Shaw, born 30 Dec 1931 in Tuscon, Pima County, Arizona; died 16 Apr 2004 in Mesquite, Clark, Nevada.
