Virgil Paul Jones, 57, Avenue Anto Court, a Wenatchee resident for the past 21 years, died Wednesday following an extended illness. Born in Swan Lake, Iowa, Oct. 12, 1902, he came to this area in 1915. He lived at Lakeside until moving to Wenatchee in 1939. A teamster, Mr. Jones was a long time member of Wenatchee Local 148 of the Teamsters Union and a member of Wenatchee Aerie 204, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are three sons, David, Donald and Russell Jones, all of Wenatchee; two daughters, Delores Paulus, Moses Lake, and Mrs. Jack N. Adams, East Wenatchee; one brother, Walter Jones, Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Palmtag, Santa Cruz, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Wild, Long Beach, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
