VIOLET G. LIVENGOOD The Republic, September 16, 1982 

   Violet G. Livengood, 70, Rockwood RD 1, died Sept. 10, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital.    She was born May 4, 1912, in Milford Township, a daughter of Levi and Ellen (Miller) Shockey.  She was preceded in death by husband, Theodore F.; three brothers and three sisters.  She is survived by these children: Mrs. Fred (Darlene) Grundman, Downey, Calif.; Mrs. Ada Allmendinger, Tulsa, Olkla.; and Arthur of Woodbridge, Va.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. James (Cordilla) Tipton, Crystal River, Fla.; Mrs. Hay (Edna) Schrock, Rockwood RD 1; and Mrs. Ernest  (Alda) Beck, also of Rockwood RD 1; Orville, Friedens RD 2.  She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville.  Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Services were held at the Messiah Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gregory Pile officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
