 Cordilla E, Tipton, 84, of Somerset died March 29, 1990, at Maple Mountain Manor.  Born April 16, 1905, in Meyersdale.  She was the daughter of the late Levi and Ellen (Miller) Shockey.  Also preceded in death by son, Charles; brothers, Vernon, William and Harry, and sisters, Violet Livengood, Edith Flick, Com Vought, Sarah Vought and Edna Schrock.  She is survived by her  husband, James R., and these children: Jacob FL, married to the former Gloria Vought of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; Mrs. Donald L. (Thelma) Ritenour, Somerset RD 6; Harold E., married to the former Shirley Lohr, Ravenna, Ohio; Mrs. Frank (Edith) Morgan, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Ronald (Emma) Stanfield. Atwater, Ohio; Mrs. Gary (Lois) Johns, Greencastle; Miss Barbara Ann Tipton, LeCanto, Fla.; Mrs. Clifford (Grace) Thiel, Somerset RD 2; and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Pauline Shaller Tipton, Johnstown; also 30 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Orville Shockey of Friedens RD 2 and Mrs. Ernest (Alda) Beek of Rockwood RD 1.  Member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church of Crystal River, Fla.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Flauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Donald Knowles officiating.  Interment,  Somerset County Memorial Park.  The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.  Contributions may be made to the Key Training Center, LeCanto RD 1, Fla.
