Obituary from Kingston Daily Freeman, April 26, 1976 DePuy Mrs. Violet DePuy, 82, of Butterville Road, New Paltz, died at Benedictine Hospital Saturday, April 24, after a brief illness. She lived in New Paltz for the past 55 years and previously lived in the Kingston area. Born in Accord, Feb. 3, 1894, she was the daughter of the late Uriah and Mary Quick and was married to Floyd DePuy, who died July 12, 1959. Surviving are two sons: Ronald DePuy of Rosendale, Robert DePuy of High Falls; two daughters: Mrs. Gloria Toboika of New Paltz, Mrs. Marion McIntosh of Gardiner; a brother, Stewart Quick of Yankee Lake; a sister, Mrs. Mae DuMond of Wappingers Falls; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Pine Funeral Home, Inc., 124 Main Street, New Paltz. The Rev. Richard Brihn will officiate. Burial will be in New Paltz Rural Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
