Thank you for your inquiry into my Father's Mother Adaline Nix. I can only say, I have never heard my Father say a negative thing about her. When My father died, and we were going among his most treasured things, we found his mother's dress that he had neatly packed away. What a tiny little lady. And Lady she was. She was very beautiful in her youth. I have a picture of she and REV. W. Thomas with their two oldest children; Viola and Wiley.

1. Viola Thomas-died from complications of childbirth; 2. Wiley Thomas- Rheumatism and Arthritis 3. Louie Thomas- died of Typhoid 4. Miles Thomas- died of stroke 5. Pearcy Thomas- died at age 10 , cause unknown 6. Elbert Thomas- died of Typhus Malaria 7. Will Self Thomas- died of complications of prostate 3-30-1962.8. Eldredige 8. Green Thomas- died of cardiac arrest and emphysema. 23-16-1980

Viola Thomas was born Nov 22, 1872 and died October 15, 1893. She died at twenty one years of age in Childbirth. Her husband name was Rev. James Monroe Jackson. Their daughter was named Pearl. Pearl married a man named Brothers. They had one son, James Brothers who is a pilot for American Airlines. He was the pilot who flew the peace treaty papers to the American officials who signed the peace treaty with Japan .
