MRS. VIOLA AULT DIES LAST NIGHT-
Mrs. Viola Carpenter Ault, 78, died at the home of her daughter Mrs.
Everett Newby, nine miles southwest of the city at Arcadia, R.R.1, at 10
o'clock Thursday night of complications following a few days illness. Born
September 7, 1867 in Hamilton county, she was the daughter of George and
Louisa Carpenter. She married Isom Ault April 24, 1886, who survives. Mr.
and Mrs. Ault made their home with their daughter. Mrs. Ault was a member
of the Aroma Methodist church.
Survivors are: the husband; the daughter, Mrs. Newby; one grandson and a
sister, Mrs. John Ault of Elwood. The body will be taken to the daughter's
home on Saturday from the Copher and Fesler funeral home. Funeral rites
will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Newby home.
Burial will be made in the Dunkard cemetery near Arcadia. Elwood Call
