Viola Bennett: Biographical Information
Viola Bennett was the daughter of Ezekiel Bennett and Lula Davis Bennett, and the granddaughter of Adam Bennett, the enslaved overseer at Magnolia Plantation on the Ashley River in Charleston, South Carolina.
Viola was born April 9, 1914. She married Sandy Ladson November 24, 1940.
She united with Springfield Baptist Church in 1939 and attended there until she moved her membership to Olive Branch Baptist Church.
She died April 16, 1989 and is buried in the Olive Branch Church Cemetery.
