Victory was born in Springfield, Mass. He was married three times and had 11 children by his first two wife’s, all boys, only three survived to adult hood. In 1680 Victory got a 50 acre land grant in Suffield, a town formed by a committee headed by John Pynchon. He probably moved there sometime in 1680 or 1681. His first wife was Elizabeth Burt of Springfield. His second wife was Elizabeth Granger of Suffield. His third wife was Widow Mary (Prichard) Trumble of Suffield. Suffield was part of Massachusetts until 1749, it is now part of Connecticut. References
