My name is Art Sikes I have been interested in genealogy for many years. I live in Suffield, Connecticut.

My main genealogical interests are, in order: Sikes/Sykes Family, Austin Family, Early Suffield, CT Families, Early Enfield, Ct Families, Austin families of Rhode Island and Early Families of the Connecticut River Valley. My parent’s families, Sikes & Austin, have lived in Suffield, CT for ten generations.

I'm a founding member of the Sikes/Sykes Families Association. My Sikes family line begins: Richard Sikes (c1600-1676) England to Dorchester, MA to Springfield, MA, Victory Sykes (1649-1708) Springfield, MA to Suffield, MA, & Jonathan Sikes (1675-1710) Suffield, MA (now CT)

I'm an active member of the Austin Families Association of America. My Austin family line begins: Richard Austin (c1598-1638) England, to Watertown, MA, Anthony Austin (c1636-1708) England to Watertown, MA to Rowley, MA to Suffield, MA, & Nathaniel Austin (1678-1760) Suffield, MA (now CT)
