He told of rowing a rowboat all over "Great South Bay" (not sure of name). There is a nearby golf course, he caddied there to earn money. He was known as "Sonny" by his Mom and Dad. He attended Freeport High School and finished in three years because of the war so that he could enlist in the Navy at age 17. Paula visited the Seaford house with Aunt Dorie, she describes it as a small one story brown house with a crawl space underneath. There is a Catholic Church about one block away, Paula heard story that the only reason that they were Catholic is that the church was close and Grandpa and Grandma wanted their children to attend church. Operated powered barge until the propeller hit a coral reef. One of them was the Fraser farm, I remember visiting it when I was small. During this time, he took a week long short course at Cornell University that allowed him to become a milk tester. He thought enough of Cornell that he attended and obtained a degree in animal husbandry in a three year time span. While at Cornell, he met Laura Cassedy. With his wife Laura and infant child (me), we first lived in apartment in Veterans Place, Ithaca, New York. Next was an apartment in Wolcott, New York, at which time he worked for DHIA (Dairy Herd Improvement Association) as a milk tester. He then became Artificial Insemination technician for NYABC. He relocated the family to an 88 acre farm on Maunder Road, town of Rose, New York, He worked as an AI technician happily for severasl years and at the same time farmed the 88 acres. At some point, had first problems with mood disorder. Changed employer to ABC. Then in 1966 moved the family to a small citrus farm in Lakeland (town of Griffin), Florida. 1969 !DEATH: Florida, Polk Co., Griffin - 16 Dec 1969 - died at home - service 19 Dec 1969 in Lakeland at Gentry-Morrison Chapel - Clergyman Rev.
