Mrs. King was a salesclerk at the former Harris Department Store, retiring in 1984. Born Feb. 9, 1922, in Pulaski, daughter of Austin and Dorothy Durgee Caufield, she was a graduate of Pulaski High School. She married Allen T. King on Feb. 9, 1946, in St. John's rectory with the Rev. Edward P. Kenefic officiating. Mr. King died Oct. 2, 1975. She was a communicant of St. John's Church. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Day, Sandy Creek; a son, Michael A., Northborough, Mass.; a sister, Isabelle Kundell, Mexico, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Roderick Caufield, died before her. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Frances Church Lacona, with the Rev. John F. Hogan officiating.
