MIDKIFF - Veroy Clayton Walden, 78, of Midkiff, Lincoln County, died Dec. 19, 1997, in Huntington.

He was a retired mail carrier and a member of Good News Tabernacle, Midkiff.

Surviving: daughters, Judith Thompson of Ravenswood, Bobbie Jo Clay and Patty Watson, both of Branchland; son, Dan Walden of Branchland; sisters, Bea Bellomy of Ashland, Ky., Lois Jean Adkins of Midkiff, Danise Fry of Huntington; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. Argie Davis and the Rev. Archie Frazier officiating. Burial with military rites by American Legion Post 111, Hamlin, will be in Dial Cemetery, Branchland. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

BRANCHLAND - Ruth Ann Dolin Walden, 62, of Branchland died Feb. 8, 1997, at home.

Surviving: husband, Veroy Walden daughters, Rita George of Sylvester, Teressa Hyatt of Palermo sons, Byron and Bobby Dolin of Branchland, Michael Dolin of Georgetown, Ky., Tommy Dolin of Michigan sisters, Edna Mae Griffy and Jean Kuhn, both of Sylvester, Gracie Massey of Cleveland brothers, Fredie McClure of Sycamore, Bobby McClure of Cleveland stepdaughters, Patty Watson of Branchland, Judy Thompson of Ravenswood stepson, Dan Walden 19 grandchildren three great-grandchildren six stepgrandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. Bobby Burns officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
