Emory Walden- Midkiff- Emory Walden 70, of this Lincoln County community, died Thursday at home following a long illness. He was a retired farmer. Surviving Sons, Oather, Veroy, of Midkiff; daughters Mrs. Beatrice Bellomy of Ashland,Ky, Mrs James Adkins of Midkiff; half-brothers, George of West Hamlin, Joe, Bill, of Hamlin, Lucian Adkins of Michigan; half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Browning of Hamlin, Mrs Effie Martin of Michigan. Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Collins Knob Baptist Church with the Revs. Harold Curry and Clarence Stratton officiating. Burial will be in Mark Adkins Cemetery near Sias. The body is at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin.
