Verba Gladys Arbogast, 85, of Procious, Clay County, died May 22, 1993, at General Division, CAMC, after a short illness. She was a homemaker, and a member of Liberty Advent Christian Church, Procious, and Clay Golden Age Club.

Surviving: husband, J. Monroe; daughter, Ramona Samples of Procious; son, Oliver W. "Sonny'of Elkview; sisters, Eva King of Procious, Addie Dawson and Ruby Samples, both of Clay, Delphia O'Dell of Ovapa; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, with the Rev. James Shamblin officiating. Burial will be in A.J. Samples Cemtery, Procious
