    SILER CITY — Mrs. Vera Mae Stuart Blalock, 80, of 1356 Jessie Bridges Road, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at the Hospice Home.
    A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Robert Alvin Blalock, and the daughter of the late Peter M Stuart and Rosa Rowe Stuart. She was a homemaker and was a member of Bethlehem Wesleyan Church.
    She is survived by four brothers, Mr. Jasper Earl Stuart of Graham, Mr. Henry Stuart of Siler City, and Mr. Harold Ray Stuart and Mr. Odell Holt Stuart, both of Snow Camp; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Stuart and Maben Stuart.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Wesleyan Church by the Rev. Paul Edwards, pastor of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Service in Graham from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and at other times at the residence.
