Wangen Relative --> Hi Unfortunately, I can’t be of too much help other than what you have probably seen. It seems that an Arthur Wangen married a woman whose last name was Marshall about 1920. Her father was Joseph Marshall, son of my great grandfather’s brother, Andrew Marshall. The name was originally Marszalkiewicz. The mother’s name was Antonia Sieracka. My information is based on an obituary from 1938 in the Superior Evening Telegram for Joseph. A Mrs. Arthur Wangen was listed as one of the daughters present. That’s it. I have a great deal of information on the Marszalkiewicz family including their village in Poland. I have less on Andrew’s family than I do on my ggf’s, John Marshall. I would imagine that there would be some information in the Duluth City Directory which also contained information for Superior. They would be available at the Duluth Library and at the Minnesota Historical Society for starters. They might be on interlibrary loan as microfilm. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to pass on what I have on Joseph’s family. Good Luck in your searching. Ray Marshall Minneapolis
