Not much is yet known about who this person was, but John and Robert Dickson are likely to be related, and possibly were brothers - Robert and Ann's son Robert Thomas was baptised in the same church on the same day as John and Ann's son Henry Dickson. More evidence is needed to corroborate this. Robert named a son John Hammond Dickson, so Hammond may be his mother's maiden name.
