On Tom's death certificate it gives his father's name as Jasper Queen and in the obiturary for his sister it says his name is Jeff Queen. Thomas Queen and Annie Jones received their marriage license on 9 September 1902 and were married on 21 September 1902. They were married by J. W. Wood DD and the witnesses were A.B. Medford, Jean Hendrix and Gather McClure (Haywood County Marriage Record Index. Page 38) Tom was a lumberman and he ran a logging operation and a store in the Sunburst section of Haywood County. The area is now known as lake logan. He was killed in a train wreck there while taking groceries to one of the logging camps. He is buried in Locust Field Cemetery.
