Info from Dian Sain Tobias information is the same as Abijah. My refererences are these: Abijah "Bidey" is written about on page 31 of Posey Downs book "Captain Benjamn Newton, William Downs and Other Lineage History" "Jane Crotts married Abijah (Bidey) Queen, the son of Solomon and Franey (Frances) York Queen. Abijah (Bidey) Queen once lied near the Casar Baptist Church, where the Amos Pruett Family now (1952) live...Jeff Queen, Abijah and Jane Crotts Queen's son, told the writer that he thought the place near Casar, where his father and family were living when they moved to Lower Burke County, was an inheritance of some fashion. The writer suggested under the Jane Newton heading, the oldest child of Captain Benjamin and Nancy McCall Newton, that she might have helped to form the Queen Group from which Abijah (Bidey) Queen descended since she married a Queen. The writer will let that opinion stand in light of the above Jeff Queen's statement. During the present century, Abijah(Bidey) Queen and his family moved into the General Briar Creek-First Broad River area of Rutherford County. It was while living in that area his children married and went out to establish homes for themselves."
