2827. … Timothy Root, son of Stephen (2805), grandson of John (2800), b. about 1681, in Farmington, which was his place of residence; m. March 20, 1707, Margaret Seymour of Hartford, Ct. He was a very large man, and was six feet and two inches in height. Some of his descendants may be found in Farmington to this day. He d. at Cape Breton, 1713. She m. (2) Jan. 22, 1718, John Rew, and d. Sept. 9, 1751."
