According to 'My Heritage', Timothy (1784-1863 Indiana) was the son of Solomon and Diadema Linn (or Lynn).  Another IGI record shows his birthdate as 1801 in Kentucky.
 According to 'Philip E. Linn Descendants', Timothy first married Susanna (Laird?) and had children Diadema/Deodema, Susan, Solomon, Henrietta Esther, Mary and Barbara. He married Nancy and had daughters Melissa Dean and Polly McCann. Nancy's sister Elizabeth married Timothy's brother William. {<http://www.pelinn.com/geneaology.html>}
 I believe his children by his first marriage were Diadema 1804- ; Solomon 1805-1869; Susan 1808- m. (?) Allen and m2 Robert McDannald; Mary 1810-1880 m. James Bowen; Henrietta Esther 1811-1878 m. Wm. Bowen [brother to James]; and Barbara 1812 [possibly married Micajah Bowen].  
 I believe that the Melissa Dean (1832- ) [m? Andrew Plank] and Polly McCann (1843- ) shown in 1850 may have been grandchildren or other relations, not daughters. 
 "My ancestor, Timothy Linn, was born in 1784 PA. He and his brother, William Linn, b. 1773 PA, came to Nicholas Co around 1814--well, William probably came much earlier than Timothy. They are theorized to be the sons of Solomon Linn, who died in 1797, in Bedford Co, PA." 
 In the 1830 census for Nicholas Co., Kentucky, there is a listing for Timothy Lynn with 1 male 40-50 [Timothy], 2 females 10-15 [Barbara and ?], 1 female 15-20 [Henrietta?], and 1 female 20-30 [Nancy].
 In the 1840 census for Nicholas Co., Kentucky, there is a listing for Timothy Lynn with 1 male 50-60 [Timothy]; 1 female 5-10 [?], 1 female 20-30 [Barbara?], and 1 female 30-40 [Nancy].

 In the 1860 census for Bourbon, Marshall Co., Indiana, Timothy T. Lynn is 28, physician, KY; with Eliza H. 17 IN; Owen S. 6 months; Amanda H. (Stattad?) 11; and [grandfather] Timothy Lynn 77 New Jersey 'retired farmer' with $25,000.
