HASTINGS, Timothy, ch. Timothy and Rebeckah, bp. --- [prob. before 1773]. CR1
[Note: there are two baptisms for these parents, both "prob. before 1773". It is not known which child was older, since we don't have the original church records, Timothy or Mary. Timothy's marriage in 1787 suggests a birth by 1766 to be of legal age. It is not known why the compilers added "prob. before 1773", whether there was a clue in the church records that indicated this, or if they were referring to the birth of another child, Rebecca, in Barre in 1773.]

    HASTINGS, Tmothy, s. Timothy, bp. Nov. 4, 1764. CR1
[Note: compare to Newton record. Again, without having the original Newton record, it is difficult to assess its exact meaning. Timothy's estimated birth of before 1766 due to his marriage date, plus a deed (Worcester Deed Vol. 73, p. 119) in 1765 where his father is described as Timothy of Brookline, strongly suggest this is his baptism.]
