Robert K. Yarling, 90, life-long Shelbyville resident, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002. Born October 13, 1911 in Shelby county, s/o Thomas E. and Grace (Vaught) Yarling. Married Helen (Thieman) Yarling on December 1, 1935; she survives. Other survivors: sister-in-law, Frances Dickman . Preceded in death by a brother, John V. Yarling. Shelbyville High School grad; United States Air Force during World War II. Shipping clerk at the former Admiral Corporation; prior to that, he worked for the Chambers Corporation in Shelbyville. St. Joseph Catholic Church, B.P.O.E Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus in Shelbyville. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Military graveside services.
