Thomas Whitney, son of Thomas Whitney and Mary Bray, born about 1604, buried 15 Apr 1637, St. Margaret's, Westminster.

In 1621 Thomas Whitney of St. Margaret, Westminster, yeoman was indicted for insulting and striking George Cranson.

He married 31 Jan 1631/2, St. Gregory by St. Paul's, London, Margaret (Mogge) George, widow of Thomas George, butcher (b. ca. 1590, d. after 8 May 1637). His adminstration was granted 8 May 1637, Westminster, to his widow Margaret Whitney, and he left an estate of £56. Thomas Whitney probably had no children.

[Note: These were two separate administrations on the estates of two separate Thomas Whitney individuals: first a younger Thomas Whitney, born about 1609, buried 15 Apr 1637, by his widow Margaret (Mogge)(George) Whitney; then an older Thomas Whitney, born before 1562, buried 20 May 1637, widower of Mary (Bray) Whitney, by his sons Francis and Robert.
