This is the last Will and testament of me Thomas Whitford of Laverton in the parish of Buckland in the County of Gloucester Nurseryman being of sound mind memory and understanding and which I make and declare this twelfth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixteen I give and bequeath unto my brother Benjamin Whitford of Laverton aforesaid weaver all my household goods Furniture Personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever to hold the same and every part thereof unto my said brother his Executors Administrators and assigns to and for his and their own use & benefit as his and their own proper goods and chattels and I do hereby nominate and appoint James Sperry of Moreton in Marsh in the said County of Gloucester Surgeon and Jeremiah Knill of Hans Place Sloane Street in the County of Middlesex Gentleman Executors of this my will In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament contained in one sheet of paper subscribed my hand and affixed my seal the day and year first above written Thomas Whitford (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Whitford the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses John Hopkins - Jane Hopkins
