Ann’s maiden name and origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is in 1741, by which time she was already married to a William Whitford. Between 1741 and 1755 Ann and William had six children baptised at Broadway in Worcestershire, although one of their sons died when only six years old in 1752.

Ann has yet to be traced after the baptism of her youngest child in 1755.
