BIOGRAPHY: Note from David Still: BIOGRAPHY: Tom Webb used to pack out groceries from Knight`s Store (Waipori) to the miners up in the hills. He was very fond of condensed milk and would drain any opened tins that he found in the miner shuts when he left supplies. The miners got wise to him and dosed the milk withsalt. He never touched their milk again.
