Will Transcript (Partial)

In the name of God Amen, the 10th day of February in the year of our Lord 1743/4, I Thomas Turner in the County of Frederick and Colony of Virginia being very sick & weak in body but of perfect mind & memory...
It is my Will and I do order that in the first place all my just Debts and the funeral charges be paid and satisfied and Ten Pound out of my whole Estate to my son Anthony Turner further it is my design to continue with him during my life.
Item. I give to my son John Turner five shillings.
Item. i give to my son Robert Turner five shillings.
item I give to my Daughter Ann Sullen [?] five shillings.
Item i give to my Daughter Sarah Pickran five shillings.
Further as i said before I assign to live with my son Anthony Turner during my life to be maintained out of my substance.
Item. Further it is my Will & desire when what I have already mentioned is paid what is remaining to be equally divided between my son Anthony Turner and Roger Turner and likewise my son Anthony Turner I constitute make and ordain my only & sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament all & singular my Goods and Chattles, Lands, Messages & Tenaments to his Heirs and Assigns forever after my decease he performing all what I have already mentioned and do hereby disalow revoke and disanull all other former Testaments Wills, Legacies and En__ by me in any ways before this time Name & Willed & Bequeathed Retifying and conforming this and no other to be my Last Will & Testament.

This Last Will & Testament of Thomas Turner Dec'd was proved in Open Court by Robert Evins & Mathew Evins two of the witnesses thereto who ___ made oath that they ___ Theophilus Norwood Sign the same as Witness: And Anthony Turner, __ therein named having made oath thereto avoiding to Law the same is admitted to Record.
