(1) 1789, 21 Aug: Thomas TINDALE wrote his will. Describes himself as "being in a low stat e of health." Gives to my beloved wife Mary TINDALL the land whereon I now live with all my s tock of horses, cattle, sheep & hogs, also all my household furniture, & a negro wench name d Abagale during her natural life or widowhood and then everything to be sold and the money a rising from the sale to be equally divided between the whole of my children.
