Death: (1) Will dtd 21 Aug 1789, proved 26 Jul 1790, Halifax Co., VA.
(1) 1789, 21 Aug: Thomas TINDALE wrote his will. Describes himself as "being in a low state of health." Gives to my beloved wife Mary TINDALL the land whereon I now live with all my stock of horses, cattle, sheep & hogs, also all my household furniture, & a negro wench named Abagale during her natural life or widowhood and then everything to be sold and the money a rising from the sale to be equally divided between the whole of my children. (1) 1789, 25 Jan [NOTE: Probably 1790]: Thomas TINDALE wrote "a small addition to my will. " My sons Patrick Boyd TINDALL, Thomas TINDALL, George TINDAL, James TINDAL, Polly Williams TINDAL, and William TINDAL shall have as much of my estate as their married brothers and sisters have had and then the balance to be divided among all of my children.
