1) MA--Frank: From doing some exploratory census research, my educated guess is that Thomas Pepper, of Lumberton, Burl., Co., NJ, born in 1839, whose wife was Elizabeth, was the BROTHER of JOHN PEPPER. ....and that John Pepper's son was ALBERT M. PEPPER, b. about 1875. ALBERT M. PEPPER, age 5, was in the household of Thomas Pepper in 1880, listed as nephew.. with father listed as born in Ireland. Thomas could have buried John in Lumberton. AMP's father (John?) was b. in Ireland and so was Thomas Pepper Thomas Pepper was in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 census. He worked in a foundry as a moulder References
