Thomas Nichols
b.Abt 1640
d.Aft 13 May 1704
Facts and Events
Thomas Nichols of Amesbury had six children recorded there from 1664-1678 with a wife Mary. It is uncertain if he was identical to the man in Boston who married Mary Moulton or the man in Charlestown and Maulden who had two previous children recorded. That could be a completely different person or persons.

Thomas Nichols of Amesbury, prob. there as early as 1665; meeting house seat and made "townsman" in 1667; owned land there in 1670; oath al. 1677; "training band" 1680; prob. liv. 1708, but dead in 1720. He m. Mary ---. [Footnote: Thomas Nichols of Malden, m. Sep. 1655 [Sv], Mary Moulton, may be the above.]
- ↑ Note: There is no Thomas Nichols of Malden. No Thomas Nichols married Mary Moulton. See the discussion here. While it is not conclusive that Thomas and Marie of Charlestown are the same as the Amesbury couple, it seems likely.
