Colonel Samuel Austin and the widow Mary Soille of Mass. were mary Austin's parents. As for Jacob's parents I can only speculate. An Elizabeth Marrietta was transported to Va could be an older sister born in 1740. I need to get some records from Mass. but I do know the family first came from O'leans France to Ireland (co. meath) and then to America. May have landed in nova Scotia and migrated down. Francis Marietta found in Pa with our branch may ave been a cousin of ours. Catherine, Etienne, and Daniel came on a boat to Nova Scotia maybe family members of Francis

Jennie married Andrew Keffer,she was commonly called Janie because of the French pronunciation, and Joseph probably married Mary McNatt, All of his children had a mary in their family.The Nicholsons, Cramers, and Mariettas all lived in Harpers Ferry, Washington co, Md(later W.va.) at one point.
