With luck, this under-specified article has been correctly cited. It appears to be the only mention of the Lincolns of Taunton in the 6 issues of this magazine (the full extent of its run if familysearch catalog is correct). It is the one cited by the following Find A Grave memorial. The article says "This is mainly from Bible and private records", but does not identify those items nor give their contents. Further, this statement is part of a paragraph concerning the son Thomas (4) of this Thomas (3). Since it is not in a paragraph by itself, there is no indication that it applies to the other content in the article.]

In one respect he made a distinct advance over his ancestors, for while he signed his name by a rude S, yet his children received an education.
