    Thomas Lilly
    Second Son of Robert Lilly

Thomas Lilly, 1775-1834, is supposed to have been buried in Shooting Bob Lilly Cemetery, Ellison, Summers County, West Virginia. The following information with much more is on the Findagrave.com site However, the cemetery notes say it was on Bearwallow Ridge: There are 15 graves in this cemetery marked with illegible fieldstones. Thomas and Rosana Lilly are reputed to be buried there. There are many paragraphs of information on Thomas and his family. But bear in mind this has all by added. There is no tombstone. And I don't know if any of the information published there is correct. He married 1798, Rosana Meador. The marriage bond is dated August 22, 1798, and recorded in Montgomery County, Virginia. The letter of parents' consent was signed by Rosana's mother, Lorina Meador. Thomas and Rosana settled on Big Bluestone River and were the parents of eleven children.
According to Ancesty.com Virginia Marriages Database, Thomas Lilly married Rosana Meador, 22 August 1798, Montgomery County, Virginia.

Thomas Lilly died ca. 24 February 1834 in what was then Giles County, Virginia.

[Note: age category for Thomas is probabley in error; in 1830 a male aged 50-60 is living with his son William in Giles County, consistent with a birth date of 1775]
