Thomas Leslie, son of Thomas Leslie and Nancy MacAdam, born 10 Jan 1823 in Port Mouton, Queens County, Nova Scotia and baptized on 17 Nov 1823 at the Methodist Church, Liverpool, Queens County, Nova Scotia. He married Elizabeth Scott. Thomas died on 26 Sep 1890 according to the manuscript, The Leslie Family of Port Mouton, Queens County, Nova Scotia by E. Murray Mosher. However his is listed in 1896 in the Nova Scotia Directory as a farmer. His date of death needs verification.

Thomas had a large farm at Bells Point, Port Mouton, Queens, Nova Scotia. In the 1871 census, he listed his occupation as a cooper and in the Nova Scotia directory of 1871 as a farmer and fisherman. In 1896 he is listed as a farmer in the Nova Scotia Directory for that year.
