Thomas Leslie was born at Port Mouton, Queens County, Nova Scotia, son of Jasper and Eleanor Leslie. He married Nancy MacAdam, daughter of George MacAdam on 7 Dec 1820 at the Methodist Church, Liverpool, Queens County, Nova Scotia. Thomas died circa 1855. They had seven children: Grace, Elizabeth, Thomas, George McAdam, James Edward, Nancy, and Mary Day.

Note that he named his first son George MacAdam/McAdam...probably named for her father.
