James, Hugh Brent and William P. Harcum. 11 slaves valued at $2,370. Other personal property valued at $602.37. Two horses, 1 carriage. Estates 37:294. Sale of Estate. 1 MAY 1845. Total proceeds $658.57. Both horses were sold. Main purchaser was the widow Milly E. Carter. Estates 38:449. Account of Estate. 1 DEC 1849, Milly E. Hill administrator. Audited by James Simmonds. (NOTE: She was dead by 20 March 1849 when her estate was appraised.) A slave named Dick was hired out in 1844. Money was paid for Robert Hill's boarding and schooling.
