DEEDS: 1. 2 JUL 1818. Royston Hughlett and wife Lucy P. (Hill) of Christ Church Parish, Lancaster County to Eppey Hill of the same place, for $175, land in Christ Church Parish on the eastern branch of the Currotoman found on the south by the said river, on the north the lands of William Pitman's heirs being one lot of the lands that John Hill died [owning] of which lot No. 1 was drawn by Lucy P. Hughlett who was Lucy P. Hill, daughter of said John Hill containing by survey 31 acres. Signed by Roston Hughlett (signature) and Lucy P. Hughlett (her mark). Witnessed by George P. Oliver, Thomas P. Hill, Flowrindy Thatcher. Recorded 20 JULY 1818. (DB 26, Part 1, p. 236). 2. 28 OCT 1818. Eppa Hill, guardian of Leroy Monroe Pitman and Sally Pitman, orphans of William Pitman, purchased 50 acres of land in the estate of William Pitman at auction for $175. See deed from Mathew H. Oliver to William Pitman dated 25 OCT 1815 in Deed Book 26, p. 143. Commissioners to the sale were Spencer George, Bidkar George and James Brent. Recorded 16 NOV 1818. Margaret Connolly of Lancaster to Eppey Hill of same, for $20, all right and interest to 7 acres on Zeke's Creek at the head of a cove. Metes and bounds given. Witnessed by Richard Edwards, Addison Connolly and Edward Carter. Recorded 16 AUG 1819. (DB 26, Part 1, p. 305). 4. 10 JUL 1821. William Hill of Lancaster to Eppa Hill of the same. For $10,00, all interest to the estate of "my sister Milly Hill, deceased" both real and personal, now in the possession of Mary Hill, her guardian and Attorney in fact. Witnessed by James Brent, George Brent, Jr., Spencer George, Jr. Recorded 16 JUL 1821. (DB 26, Part 1, p. 439). WILL Dated 19 March 1822, proved 20 JAN 1823, Will Book 28, p. 236. Names wife Mary C. Hill, children John M. Hill, Humphrey C. Hill, James Monroe Hill and Milly Hill. Executors: wife and Bidkar George. Witnesses: Addison Connolly, Leah Hinton.
