Thomas, a General Labourer, continued to live at 23 Hart Street, Burnley after the Census of 1911, until his death.

In the 1901 Census, he gives his age as 49, and birth year 1852 - the same year his wife was born. But, in the 1911 Census, it cannot be other than a transcribing error which bills him as 39 (only 8 years older than his daughter!), and born 1872.
