Mr. Hopwood), Rice, William, Leah (md. William Rannells), Ruth McCoy & Priscilla Glover; grandchildren: James Hopwood, John Rannells, Thomas Gaddis Rannells, Thomas McCoy, & daughters of son James Gaddis (Hannah, Priscilla & Anna); surviving descendants claimed Pension due soldier's widow in 1851 in Clinton County, Ohio; query letter in file states soldier was a son of William [Gaddis] & Priscilla Bowen; query letter in file states soldier's middle initial was "R"; query letter in file in 1922 from Lillian McClelland Browning, Brownsville, Pennsylvania, who was also a descendant of Revolutionary War soldier John McClelland & Revolutionary War soldier John Hopwood; query letter in file in 1924 from great great granddaughter Jennie E.
