Thomas Foley of Chadwick, yeoman; will dated Dec. 3, 1667, and proved at Worcester, April 24, 1668; to Sarah his wife a bond for 100 pounds "for payment of 50 pounds, with consideration for the same, wherein John Foley standeth bound unto me;" to his eldest son Thomas certain parcels of land, conditionally that he should pay to his younger brother William 100 pounds; to his son John certain other lands, conditionally that he should pay to his younger brother William 50 pounds; also to his son John -- whom he appointed sole executor -- all his goods and chattels.
