    In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Foley of Bewdley in the County of Worcester Gunsmith being of a Disposing Mind and Memory do make my Last Will and Testament in Manner following. Viz My Soul I hope will Return to God who gave it my Body I commit to the Earth to be Buryed And my Estate I dispose of as followeth (viz) Imprimis I give to my Son Thomas Foley one Shilling and no more And to my daughters Sarah Mary Elizabeth and Littleford Eighty pounds apeice to be paid them respectively within six months next after my decease And all the Rest and Residue of my Personal Estate (after my debts Legacies and funeral Expences are paid and satisfyed) I give to Sarah my Wife And I appoint my said Wife to be sole Executrix of this my Will in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and published this to be my last Will and Testament the 13th Day of April 1728 Tho: Foley Signed Sealed and published in the presence of us Sarah Smith Wm Trump

  5.   It is speculation that the Thomas Foley, gunsmith of Bewdley, is the same person who was baptized in Bromsgrove. Evidence supporting this speculation: his daughter, Sarah, married Benjamin Bach, who came from a Chadwich family. (Chadwich was the community the speculative parents lived in.)
